KYC verification explained
Verify before you need to withdraw, not after.
Why it is required
Operators confirm identity and age and guard against fraud. A first withdrawal commonly triggers it.
Where to see what is needed
Log in to your DBBet account and open Settings, then your personal profile information. The verification details and your current status are shown there, so you always see the up-to-date requirements for your own account.
Photo tips
- All four corners visible, good light, no glare.
- Details match your account: name, birth date, address.
- Upload only inside your secure DBBet account, never by chat apps or email.
If rejected
Read the reason, fix it (often a blurry photo) and resubmit. If the reason is unclear, ask DBBet support.
What verification is really for
Verification sounds like paperwork, but it answers three plain questions. Are you old enough to play? Is the person using this account the person it was opened for? And is the money moving in and out of it going to the right place? A betting account holds real money, so the operator needs those answers before it pays anything out. The same reasoning is why banks and mobile wallets in Bangladesh usually tie accounts to a national ID.
That last question explains a rule you will meet again and again: the name on your account, the name on your documents and the name on the wallet you withdraw to should all agree. When they do, checks are quick. When they do not, nothing moves until someone sorts it out.
A photo and document checklist
Most failed checks come down to image quality, not to anything wrong with the person. Go through this list before you upload anything:
- Use the original document. A photo of the card itself, not a photocopy, a screenshot or a picture of another screen.
- Check the dates. An expired document is a common reason for rejection. Look at the expiry date before you start.
- Show the whole card. All four edges inside the frame, nothing covered by a finger, a case or a sticker.
- Kill the glare. Laminated cards reflect light. Tilt the card slightly or move away from the lamp until the text is crisp.
- Pick plain light and a plain background. Daylight near a window and a dark, flat surface work well. Avoid shadows across the text.
- Do not edit. Filters, cropping tools, beauty modes and compression apps can make a genuine document look altered.
- Read it back. Zoom in on the photo. If you cannot read the number and the name easily, the reviewer cannot either.
Names, dates and spelling must agree
Small differences cause big delays. Write your name exactly as it appears on the document: the same order, the same spelling, including middle names. If your document uses one English spelling of a Bangla name and you registered with another, the system sees two different people. The same goes for your date of birth, so check day and month are not swapped. If something on your account is wrong, correct it in your profile before submitting, not after a rejection.
Reading a rejection
A rejection almost always comes with a reason. These are the usual meanings, based on how identity checks work in general, so check your own message for the exact wording:
| If the reason says | It usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Unreadable or blurry | The text could not be read from your image. | Retake in better light, closer, with a steady hand. |
| Incomplete or cropped | A corner or edge is missing. | Show the whole document inside the frame. |
| Details do not match | Name or date differs from your account. | Fix the profile or use a document that matches, then resubmit. |
| Expired or unsupported | The document is out of date or not an accepted type. | Check the types listed in your account and use a valid one. |
| Failed live or selfie check, if one is asked | The face or movement could not be confirmed. | Remove glasses, hats and shadows, and follow the prompts slowly. |
Keep your documents safe
A national ID is among the most valuable things a fraudster can collect. Upload only inside your logged-in DBBet account, never in a chat app, an email, or a form that a stranger sent you. Do not do it on public Wi-Fi, and log out on shared phones. If someone messages you first, even one claiming to be support, and asks for a photo of your ID, assume it is a scam. Our scam guide shows what these messages usually look like.
How long does it take?
We cannot promise a number, because the speed depends on how many checks are waiting and on how clean your upload is. The honest rule: a clear, matching submission is reviewed faster than a messy one, and a second attempt after a rejection takes more time than getting it right once. Do it on a calm evening well before your first withdrawal, not on the day you want the money.
If you cannot finish the check
If your document is lost, damaged, expired or the details have changed, do not borrow someone else's ID and do not open a second account. Contact support from inside your account, explain what is wrong, and ask what they can accept. If the problem blocks a withdrawal, the withdrawal checklist and the safe withdrawal guide show what to prepare while you wait.
